DR. MARIA CLEMENTE
Maria Clemente is a results-oriented and dedicated ophthalmologist located in Hazlet, NJ. She received her medical degree from Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and completed her ophthalmology residency at Nassau University Medical Center. Dr. Clemente provides general ophthalmology care and performs surgeries in-office and at Riverview Medical Center. Surgeries include cataract surgery, eyelid surgery, various facial cosmetic surgeries, cyst and stye removal, and Botox injections ,for medical and cosmetic purposes. She has advanced training in medically assisted weight loss and weight management techniques. Dr. Clemente uses state of the art technology for diagnoses and treatment.
She currently has newest IPL technology, The Optilight, which treats Dry Eye conditions, Rosacea, and other skin and eye conditions. She and her office stay connected to the community through charity events, such as sponsoring the Vision Walk with The Foundation Fighting Blindness.

Dr. Clemente has been in practice for over thirty years. When she started her practice in 1992, she was the first female ophthalmologist in the Eatontown, Long Branch, Red Bank, and Hazlet areas.
Her practice's primary focus was initially on medical and surgical eyecare. However, as the needs of her patients evolved, Dr. Clemente practice began encompassing total health care,
which brings her satisfaction in helping her patients in all aspects of their health.
Dr. Clemente's patients can attest that her visits encompass many aspects of their health, which start from the initial eye exams and expands to suit her patients' needs.
Dr. Clemente spends more time with her patients because of this total care approach and philosophy.
